I am Abba’s daughter. It is a real life application of my life and walk with God. I wholeheartedly strive to live a life that’s pleasing unto God. It takes having a willing heart to surrender to the will of God the Father and giving Him a “Yes!”when your flesh wants to say, “No!” Your flesh wants to say, no to righteousness, no to being Holy, no to denying self. In other words, when you say yes to living a life that is pleasing to God and no to the temptations of the devil, you begin dying to this world and being Satan’s guinea pig.
I am Abba’s daughter because I strive to resist the devil and flee from his ways. This makes me a target of the enemy because he hates anyone striving for righteousness. When the enemy wants us to fall into sin he will use anything or anyone to try to destroy who you are in Christ Jesus. For example, when God has delivered you from cursing, lust of the eye, the pride of life, jealousy, hatred, and adultery, etc., the devil may send someone from your past to test and try you. Saints of God, it’s time to call out those spirits that want to keep you bound and let the devil know that you don’t belong to him! You belong to Abba God! He is your heavenly father. I have to be honest. The devil is always trying to get me to fall into sin by getting me angry at the things that my husband may not be doing right but the truth of the matter is that I love God regardless of what I may be going through with my husband. Let me say this, my love for the Father was already established before I became anyone’s wife. Being married doesn’t determine the depth of my love nor how I choose to live for my heavenly Father. It is written that man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. In other words, I am and always will be my Abba’s daughter.
And so when the enemy comes like a flood, we must let him know that our standards, our way of life, will show forth our beatitudes, because we are blessed as a King’s daughter. We should never allow anyone to think that they can dictate our life and get us to change from living for our Lord. We must stand flat footed and say, for God we live and for God we die. Why is it so important to know who you stand for? Because Satan is always trying to tempt you and persuade you to curse God. He knows that denouncing God will cause you to lose your birthright as a child of God.
Have you ever wondered who you are? Or what is your purpose here on this earth? Let me tell you you were created to be like God. You were created to be His sons or his daughters. In other words we were created to learn how to live a life like Jesus. John 3:16 (KJV) says, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.”
Because our Lord and Savior humbled Himself and became the ultimate sacrifice for our sins we are now partakers of eternal life and heirs of the Kingdom of Heaven. The gospel is our mission. We are to share and spread it to the whole world as ambassadors and witnesses. Let’s start speaking in the atmosphere and declare that, “I am Abba’s daughter and heir of the Kingdom of Heaven. I sit with Christ in heavenly places.” It does not yet appear what we shall be but we know without a shadow of a doubt that as long as we keep on striving to live for Him we shall be like Him. Let’s declare that, “I have His life. I live and I have His very being. I carry the weight of His glory.” Hallelujah! Let me say that again. “I have His life. I live and I have His very being. I am a glory carrier because He dwells within me! Oh! I felt that in my spirit. MyGod! My great God from Zion!”
Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior. He left His place at the right hand of our heavenly Father to serve. He presented Himself as a servant to bring about a change, deliverance, and to set the captive free. He taught the principles of the Kingdom. We are to learn to live our best life as a king’s daughter or as a son of a king.
12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. (John 1:12-13).
While writing this article, I was expressing my gratitude towards the Father not realizing what I was saying had a list of articles that back up every word released into the atmosphere. My God! My God! My God! I just love Him. His love alone is more than words can express because He didn’t have to send His only begotten Son for us. He did not have to include us in creation but he thought enough about us to show some love. That alone makes me wanna shout and say, “Glory to God! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Thank you Father for loving and thinking about us.”
